Got some work done on the Outlaw last night. Finished wiring up the Deans arming switch, and ran the wires for the battery connection. I tested everything and it workes fine. Plug in the battery and the radio powers up; plug in the arming switch and the motor comes alive. Perfect. Had to resolder a motor connector; that might have been part of my problem from the beginning.
So tonight will be to epoxy the arming switch to the body of the Outlaw, and I think I'm going to cut slits in the undercarriage to mount the BEC and receiver with velcro straps. I also have to secure the motor wires and if time allows, I will start on a better method to secure the hatch. I'm thinking a lip up front and either double magnets in the rear or a simple lever that locks it into place. It has to be strong as that's how you launch the plane.
